Note that the names, phone and e-mail are used for matching a check-in with someone from the block list, so take care to enter their details correctly.<br><img src=\"https://storage.faqbot.nz/prod/5011149bf4b549fdca2008d81d82c9c1/files/article_pasted_image_blocked-visitors_e9f04392-1f53-43b7-b71d-4f41a964f910.png\"></li>\n<li>Click <strong>Add to block list</strong></li>\n</ol>\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\n<h2>Add a blocked visitor check to your check in process/es</h2>\n<p>Note: It's only possible to check for blocked visitors using a&nbsp;<a href=\"https://help.evacheckin.com/article/custom-processes\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">custom check-in process</a>. We can't check for blocked visitors on standard check-in.&nbsp;</p>\n<ol>\n<li>Navigate to <a href=\"https://my.evacheckin.com/customer/processes_and_forms/processes\">Overview &gt; Processes</a> and forms and select edit on the check-in process you want to add a blocked visitor check to.</li>\n<li>Within that process, find the first of your custom screens, and click the arrow to expand.<br><img src=\"https://portal.helpfruit.com/api/images/5011149bf4b549fdca2008d81d82c9c1/files/edit%20custom%20process.png?width=1000&amp;height=\"><br><br></li>\n<li>Click <strong>Add field</strong> at the bottom of that section<br><img src=\"https://portal.helpfruit.com/api/images/5011149bf4b549fdca2008d81d82c9c1/files/add%20field.png\"><br><br></li>\n<li>Select <strong>Blocked visitor check</strong> field type<br>\n<div>\n<div><img src=\"https://storage.faqbot.nz/prod/5011149bf4b549fdca2008d81d82c9c1/files/article_pasted_image_blocked-visitors_628ac6de-3dda-4bdd-840d-bafb62d85883.png\"></div>\n</div>\n</li>\n<li>Make any required adjustments to the Check-in rules. The defaults are as shown.<br>\n<div><img src=\"https://storage.faqbot.nz/prod/5011149bf4b549fdca2008d81d82c9c1/files/article_pasted_image_blocked-visitors_6594603c-6948-4baf-bc0a-e9871e696ff2.png\"></div>\n</li>\n<li>Click close, and Save your process.</li>\n<li>If you want to include a blocked visitor check across multiple processes, you will need to repeat the above steps for each process.</li>\n</ol>\n<h2>What happens when a visitor on your block list checks in</h2>\n<p>If you have added a blocked visitor check to your check-in process, when a visitor checks in using that process, we'll run a check to make sure the visitor isn't on your block list.</p>\n<p>We look for matches across first name, last name, phone number and e-mail.</p>\n<p>If we consider the visitor to be a close or exact match to a visitor on your block list, we will send a <a href=\"https://help.evacheckin.com/article/notifications-in-eva-check-in\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">notification</a> to the host and to site admins, and present the red check-in status message to the visitor,&nbsp;e.g.:</p>\n<div><img src=\"https://storage.faqbot.nz/prod/5011149bf4b549fdca2008d81d82c9c1/files/article_pasted_image_blocked-visitors_5cc66c60-bd25-4572-9cf6-689c76fe4382.png\"></div>\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\n<p>From their notification, the admin can review the blocked visitor, and, if they wish, override the block (with a reason):</p>\n<div><img src=\"https://storage.faqbot.nz/prod/5011149bf4b549fdca2008d81d82c9c1/files/article_pasted_image_blocked-visitors_a26dbab7-e925-469a-bd17-88388ac18455.png\"></div>\n<p>The visitor is still considered checked in, but with a red status.
