Set up on-site alerts</p>\n<p>Set up messages ready to send to anyone who's checked in. This might include:</p>\n<ul>\n<li>a warning that a drill is planned for that day</li>\n<li>evacuation/assembly instructions once the drill (or real evacuation) is under way</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Go to&nbsp;<a href=\"https://my.evacheckin.com/site_information/options\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" data-cke-saved-href=\"https://my.evacheckin.com/site_information/options\">Site information &gt; Options</a> to set up these alert messages and notification method.</p>\n<p><img src=\"https://portal.faqbot.nz/api/images/5011149bf4b549fdca2008d81d82c9c1/files/Evacuation%20messages.png?width=1000&amp;height=\"></p>\n<p>2. Make sure your wardens have the EVA mobile app installed on their device. This is the recommended method for easiest evacuations.</p>\n<p>3.&nbsp;In the EVA Check-in portal, grant wardens the \"Evacuation Warden\" permission on the site/s they are wardens for (via&nbsp;<a href=\"https://my.evacheckin.com/customer/visitor_profiles\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Overview &gt; Visitor&nbsp;profiles</a>). This allows them to start evacuations in the mobile app.&nbsp;<br><strong>Note:</strong>&nbsp;Wardens may need to complete a&nbsp;<strong>one-time device verification</strong>&nbsp;before the&nbsp;<strong>Evacuate</strong>&nbsp;button appears.&nbsp;<a href=\"https://help.evacheckin.com/article/authenticated-visitors\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Learn more</a>.</p>\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\n<div><img src=\"https://storage.faqbot.nz/prod/5011149bf4b549fdca2008d81d82c9c1/files/pasted_image_article_evacuations_f818337e-45dc-4752-abaa-9b3f7613156b.png\" width=\"600\"></div>\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\n<p>4. Set up Evacuation warden alerts at <a href=\"https://my.evacheckin.com/site_information/options\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Site information &gt; Options &gt; On-site alerts</a> - choose your alert methods and specify a default message.</p>\n<div><img src=\"https://storage.faqbot.nz/prod/5011149bf4b549fdca2008d81d82c9c1/files/pasted_image_article_evacuations_2c7e2419-08bd-42b7-97c9-f35d6fa46a32.png\" width=\"600\"></div>\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\n<h3 id=\"mcetoc_1japd5t5t55\">Evacuation steps</h3>\n<h4 id=\"mcetoc_1gj05l6e24l\">1. Clear the area</h4>\n<p>Wardens clear their areas and go to the muster points they’re responsible for.<br><br></p>\n<h4 id=\"mcetoc_1gj05l6e24n\">3. Account for everyone</h4>\n<p>Wardens tick people off the EVA Check-in register. It doesn’t matter which warden or muster point, the list is updated in real-time.<strong>‍ </strong></p>\n<p>If you have sent a notification message to everyone checked in, they will also get the option to self-account.<br><br>Anyone who needs assistance is clearly identified with a red/white + symbol.</p>\n<p><img src=\"https://portal.faqbot.nz/api/images/5011149bf4b549fdca2008d81d82c9c1/files/Evacuation%20list%20on%20mobile.png\"></p>\n<h4 id=\"mcetoc_1gj05l6e24o\">4. Is anyone missing?</h4>\n<p>Once everyone at the muster points is accounted for, wardens can review the list to see if anyone is missing. Wardens can then broadcast SMS (see 1 above) or call individuals to confirm their whereabouts, directly from the evacuation list.<br><br></p>\n<h4 id=\"mcetoc_1gj05l6e24p\">5.
