Try a manual check in to review your visitors' check-in experience:</p>\n<p><img src=\"https://portal.faqbot.nz/api/images/5011149bf4b549fdca2008d81d82c9c1/files/First%20login%20screen.png?width=1000&amp;height=\"></p>\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\n<h2 id=\"mcetoc_1h9mgef11106\">Step three - customise your check-in experience</h2>\n<h3 id=\"mcetoc_1h9mgef11107\">Check-in messages</h3>\n<p>Go to&nbsp;<a title=\"Check-in options\" href=\"https://my.evacheckin.com/site_information/options\">Site information &gt; Options</a> &gt; <strong>Check-in</strong> tab to make changes to your check-in and check-out messages:</p>\n<p><br><img src=\"https://portal.faqbot.nz/api/images/5011149bf4b549fdca2008d81d82c9c1/files/Check-in%20options.png?width=1000&amp;height=\"></p>\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\n<h3 id=\"mcetoc_1h9mgef11108\">Information collected from visitors</h3>\n<p>To change the information you collect on check-in, <a title=\"Visitor types in EVA Check-in\" href=\"https://my.evacheckin.com/visitors/visitor_types\">edit the relevant visitor type(s)</a>.&nbsp;</p>\n<ul>\n<li>Make different fields hidden or displayed and required or not</li>\n<li>Add a custom field</li>\n<li>Enable 'meeting with' - allowing visitors to select their host</li>\n</ul>\n<p>If you need more than the standard check in configuration, <a href=\"https://help.evacheckin.com/article/custom-processes\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">custom check-in</a> gives you full flexibility.</p>\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\n<h2 id=\"mcetoc_1h9mgef11109\">Step four - choose your check-in method(s)</h2>\n<p>EVA Check-in supports multiple check-in methods:</p>\n<ul>\n<li>QR code poster check-in - visitors scan to check in</li>\n<li>Kiosk check-in - typically on a tablet device in your reception area</li>\n<li><a href=\"https://help.evacheckin.com/article/getting-started-with-geofences\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Geofence check-in</a> - automatic check in/out via the EVA mobile app</li>\n<li><a title=\"EVA Pass setup\" href=\"https://my.evacheckin.com/site_information/eva_pass\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Digital pass sign in</a> - reusable check-in pass visitors can store in their Apple Wallet or Google Pay</li>\n<li>Manual check-in</li>\n</ul>\n<h3 id=\"mcetoc_1h9mgef1110a\">QR code poster check-in</h3>\n<p>\uD83C\uDFA8 Customise your poster: add a logo, colour scheme and title text. Go to the <strong>Theme</strong> tab on <a href=\"https://my.evacheckin.com/site_information/options\">Site information &gt; Options</a></p>\n<p>\uD83D\uDDA8️ Print your poster: go to&nbsp;<a href=\"https://my.evacheckin.com/check_in_admin/zones\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Check-in</a> in the the EVA Check-in portal, and select QR/poster for the relevant zone. Then select&nbsp;<strong>Print view</strong>&nbsp;to preview and print.</p>\n<h3 id=\"mcetoc_1h9mgef1110b\">Kiosk check-in</h3>\n<p>Set up EVA to run on an iPad or Android tablet for self-service check-in. Go to <a title=\"Check-in\" href=\"https://my.evacheckin.com/check_in_admin/zones\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Check-in</a> in the portal to create a new zone.</p>\n<p><img src=\"https://portal.faqbot.nz/api/images/5011149bf4b549fdca2008d81d82c9c1/files/Add%20new%20zone.png?width=1000&amp;height=\"></p>\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\n<h3 id=\"mcetoc_1h9mi5vg7134\">Data retention policy</h3>\n<p>You will have set the visitor data retention period when you signed up. The default is 60 days. To review this, go to <a title=\"Data retention policy\" href=\"https://my.evacheckin.com/customer/data_policy\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Overview &gt; Data policy</a>.</p>\n<h3 id=\"mcetoc_1h9misbiv142\">User management</h3>\n<p>Users can be assigned to all sites within your account or to individual sites. Set them up via <a title=\"User management\" href=\"https://my.evacheckin.com/account/users\">Account settings &gt; Users</a>&nbsp;</p>\n<p>They can sign in using a password or Microsoft account - set up on the <strong>Sign-in method</strong> tab</p>\n<p><img src=\"https://portal.faqbot.nz/api/images/5011149bf4b549fdca2008d81d82c9c1/files/sign%20in%20method.png\"></p>\n<p>Users can be granted customer(all sites) or site-specific access</p>\n<div title=\"Page 16\">\n<div>\n<div>\n<h3 id=\"mcetoc_1h9mmabc8150\">Roles</h3>\n<p>Users must be granted one or more roles appropriate to the tasks they will be undertaking:</p>\n<ul>\n<li>Customer Administrator - full access to the portal including all of the roles below</li>\n<li>Receptionist &ndash; can view the &ldquo;who is here&rdquo; and &ldquo;visitor count&rdquo; screens and manage manual check-in/out on behalf of guests</li>\n<li>Operations &ndash; can access &ldquo;activity log&rdquo; and &ldquo;audit logs&rdquo; reports only</li>\n<li>Login administrator* &ndash; can create/edit users and change passwords</li>\n<li>Pre-registration - can pre-register visitors and use pre-registration features</li>\n</ul>\n<p><em>*Note: a Login Administrator can only assign roles that they hold.
