Visitor photos
Capture a photo when your visitor checks in - on their own device or on your check-in kiosk.
How to set up visitor photos
Visitor photos are enabled by visitor type. For example, you may wish to capture photos of visitors, but not staff.
- In the EVA Check-in portal, navigate to the relevant visitor type.
- In the Check-in fields section, select "Display visitor photo button". You also have the option to make this compulsory.
- Click Save
- Repeat for any other visitor types you wish to capture photos of
Checking in when visitor photos are enabled
If visitor photos are enabled for their selected visitor type, a visitor will see the Take photo button when they check in. Clicking the button activates the device camera.
Supported devices & OS
Visitor photos can be captured on:
- iOS v15 and up - iPhone and iPad
- Android tablets and phones
Visitor photos in the EVA Check-in portal
Visitor photos, when enabled and captured, will appear on your reports - including Who is Here and Activity Log. When you hover over the small photo in the report, you can see a bigger version.

Printing photos on visitor badges
To print photos on visitor badges/labels, go to the Labels tab on Site information > Options.
Select the QR & Photo label size.

Adding a visitor photo to host email
To add the visitor photo in the email notification to the host, use $vphoto in the Visitor details section of the notification e-mail, as shown below.
